The power of THOR loll
HESHER is coming out May 13! I loved making this movie, and I love how it turned out. It’s hilarious, but it’s not just funny, it’s smart, it’s sad, it’s hopeful, it’s heartfelt, and it fuckin rocks. Natalie decided to produce Spencer’s script for a reason, and by the way her character’s nothing like you’ve seen her. Devin, the protagonist, is a truly talented young actor. Rainn gave a legit no-joke badass dramatic performance. And, I’m humbled to say, Metallica themselves liked it so much they gave us their music, they never give their stuff to movies!
Now this really is an “indie” film, meaning it’s being independently released without any huge corporations behind the marketing and advertising and all that jazz. 500 Days of Summer had that “indie” spirit, but it was put out by Fox Searchlight who has tons of resources to spread the word. HESHER’s just got us. So pass it around!

“I’m not beautiful. My mother once called me an ugly duckling. But, listed separately, I have a few good features,” -Audrey Hepburn
Well, I think it’s safe to say that we all beg to differ! Whether it’s her hair, her physique, or her style— in 2011, we are still trying to emulate Audrey Hepburns classic beauty.
So you want to get that ‘Audrey-Inspired Look’ too, huh? Well don’t worry, LIFE shows you How To Look Like Audrey Hepburn.

“I always wanted to play with the boys. I didn’t want to be a pawn in their game or have a sidekick role. I wanted to be more of a lead character—a superhero.”- Nicki Minaj
I think anyone that would call me a “wigger” or a “tweaker” or something worse—those people are Nazis. Just because of skin color you’re going to insult someone for playing hip-hop or country music? It’s weird to me. I think the days of labeling people and calling them names based on the music they listen to are long gone. If people are still thinking like that, it’s so ignorant that I can’t even entertain it for a minute.

Ben Affleck could be joining The Great Gatsby
Moulin Rouge director Baz Lurhmann is taking his time prepping his adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic The Great Gatsby, but the film’s cast is coming along nicely.
With Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan and Tobey Maguire already confirmed, the director’s now approached Ben Affleck for the novel adap.
Affleck is currently weighing up an offer to play Tom Buchanan, the husband of Daisy (Mulligan). Meanwhile, DiCaprio has bagged the titular Gatsby, and Maguire is narrator Nick Carraway.
